Prepare to Die is an Achievement in A Hat in Time. The player can obtain it by fully clearing a contract's main objective and bonus objectives.

Difficulty

Prepare to Die tends to depend entirely on the contract or candle chosen to fully complete.

Strategies

This achievement is unobtainable if one of the following is active:

  • A contract has Peace and Tranquility Mode enabled on it, this disables Bonus Objectives, which makes those stamps unobtainable.
  • Assist Mode is enabled in your Game Settings, this in the process automatically enables Peace and Tranquility mode without your input.

You do not need to fully clear a contract at once, first focus on finishing the primary objective of a challenge, afterwards you can focus on each bonus separately, once you complete the last objective you are given the achievement immediately.
