Alpine Skyline - Prelude

The Prelude of Alpine Skyline takes place at The Tower of the Goats, it is the area Hat Kid first arrives at in the Alpine Skyline. It is a mountain range high up in the clouds.
Summary
Dropping down, Hat Kid will end up at a windy mountain range. Many flags, banners, torches, as well as emblems of Goats can be spotted around, hinting at the remains of a civilization. Many giant statues of the Goats can be seen. Moving forward, 2 large cliffs stand side-by-side, creating a passage to another spur. A bridge can be found connecting the two, with a closed gate to the end. Next to the gate is a bell, which Hat Kid will need to hook on and ring to open the gate. After that is a fairly long spiral staircase leading up to the peak, with many spider barricades acting as obstacles.
To the peak is a plateau, with many pedestals around. 3 valves can be spotted, which Hat Kid will need to hit and screw into the ground. With each one, a tall stone pillar will dig further down below, until finally forming a zipline.
Hooking on it, a long sequence will play out. Hat Kid will zip along the line up to the stormy clouds, until eventually ending up on the Alpine Skyline.
Strategy
- This sequence is rather short, and is very simple. So you shouldn't have much difficulty maneuvering it.
- Though, if you are struggling with how the hookshot works, it is recommended that you revisit The Subcon Well. As it's the introduction to the Hookshot, The mission should familiarize you with it.
Music
- The Tower of the Goats - A mysterious, atmospheric track, utilizing the chimes, as well as a certain string as its primary instruments. It plays throughout the sequence from the start to when Hat Kid zips to the Skyline.
- This track's string melody is borrowed in Alpine Skyline at Night
- Said melody is very similar to A Hat in Time's Boss Leitmotif.

Trivia
- A Single Bench is present near the beginning of this sequence. This is the only bench in the entirety of Alpine Skyline.
- This sequence can only be visited once, and is never available again after Hat Kid zips to the Skyline.
- Based on the facts that visible storm clouds seem to be nearby, that the mountain range is covered in clouds, and that it snows at the beginning, it can be approximated that the sequence takes place around the height of 2500m, or 8200ft.[1][2]
